The Wallace-Rose Hill Bulldogs will head out on the road to face off against the Clinton Dark Horses at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Wallace-Rose Hill will be strutting in after a win while the Dark Horses will be coming in after a loss.
Even though North Lenoir scored an imposing 55 points on Friday, Wallace-Rose Hill still came out on top. Wallace-Rose Hill walked away with a 65-55 victory over the Hawks. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Wallace-Rose Hill.
Meanwhile, Clinton took a serious blow against the Knights on Friday, falling 69-31. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Clinton in their matchups with the Knights: they've now lost seven in a row.
Wallace-Rose Hill's victory bumped their record up to 8-9. As for Clinton, they now have a losing record at 8-9.
Wallace-Rose Hill beat the Dark Horses 45-37 when the teams last played back in December of 2022. The rematch might be a little tougher for Wallace-Rose Hill since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
