Volleyball Recap: Academy of Aerospace and Engineering Comes Up Short

Academy of Aerospace and Engineering lost against Academy of Science and Innovation back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Jets lost 3-0 to the Ravens. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Jets have suffered against the Ravens since November 7, 2022.

While Academy of Aerospace and Engineering ultimately came up short, they really made Academy of Science and Innovation work, particularly in the first set. The final score came out to 26-24, 25-7, 25-16.

Nehae'Vah Armstrong was the offensive standout of the contest as she had ten digs and four aces. That's the most digs she has posted since back in October of 2024. Kaliyah Vaughns also deserves some recognition as she had her first dig of the season.

This is the second loss in a row for Academy of Aerospace and Engineering and nudges their season record down to 2-2. As for Academy of Science and Innovation, they picked up their first home victory, bumping their record up to 5-2.

Coming up, Academy of Aerospace and Engineering will host Wilcox RVT at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Academy of Science and Innovation, they will head out on the road to square off against Weaver at 4:45 p.m. on Friday.
