The DeSoto Dragons scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Perryville 78-48 at home. The win was some much needed relief for DeSoto as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.
Aidyn Mitchell went supernova for DeSoto, scoring 18 points along with eight rebounds and two steals. Evan Mcclinton was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with five steals.
DeSoto's win bumped their record up to 9-12. As for Perryville, their defeat was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-20.
DeSoto will face off against the Blue Jays at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Perryville, they will be playing in front of their home fans against the Hornets at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
