There's no place like home for the San Juan Broncos, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Wednesday. They walked away with a 77-70 victory over North Summit on Friday. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
San Juan's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Rj Dalley, who scored 17 points along with six rebounds. Dalley is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 15 or more in the last three games he's played. Weston Jones was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with three steals.
North Summit lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Trevor Richins, who scored 22 points along with two steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Buck Sargent, who scored 20 points.
North Summit struggled to get the ball back on offense and finished the game with only two offensive rebounds. That's the fewest offensive rebounds they've managed all season.
San Juan's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-9. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 76.3 points per game. As for North Summit, their defeat ended a six-game streak of away wins and brought them to 9-5.
