On Monday, Pompton Lakes came up short against Fort Lee and fell 51-39.
Fort Lee was led to victory by Guy Vickers and Devin Jang. Vickers dropped a double-double on 15 points and 11 rebounds, while Jang scored 23 points along with four steals. Vickers has been hot recently, having posted eight or more rebounds the last four times he's played. Jun Best was another key contributor, scoring four points along with three steals.
Pompton Lakes' loss dropped their record down to 13-6. As for Fort Lee, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-13.
Pompton Lakes will be playing at home against Hawthorne at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Fort Lee, they will head out on the road to square off against Dwight Morrow at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Dwight Morrow presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Fort Lee in New Jersey (Dwight Morrow is ranked 109th, while Fort Lee is ranked 282nd).
