The Niwot Cougars's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their third straight loss. The game between Niwot and Riverdale Ridge wasn't particularly close, with Niwot falling 66-48. Niwot has not had much luck with Riverdale Ridge recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.
Niwot lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Jackson Carano, who scored 12 points along with seven rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Luke Demmel, who scored eight points along with five rebounds.
It was another big night for Kameren Davis, who scored 24 points for Riverdale Ridge. Those 24 points set a new season-high mark for him. Another player making a difference was Marcus D mcfadden, who scored eight points along with ten rebounds and six assists.
Niwot's loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Riverdale Ridge, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-1.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Niwot will take on Severance at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Severance is strutting with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 53 points per game. As for Riverdale Ridge, they will be playing at home against Skyline at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Averaging 65.5 so far this season, Skyline's high-powered offense has been in full-swing lately, so Riverdale Ridge better be ready for a challenge.
