On Friday Brinkley take on Rison at 7:00 PM. The MaxPreps rankings say the odds are against Brinkley, but that can only make success all the sweeter.
Brinkley had to travel to play their first game of the season, and the final result was worth the trip. They strolled past Corning with points to spare last Friday, taking the match 28-8.
Meanwhile, Rison took care of business in their home opener. They made easy work of Fordyce and carried off a 34-6 win.
Their wins lifted both teams to an identical 1-0. While both teams are coming in off of wins, only one will triumph this week. Who will it be ? Check back in with MaxPreps after the game is over for details.
