They were a single  set away from ending the streak, but they lost  a   2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Appleton East Patriots. The Tritons were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Patriots apparently hadn't forgotten their  defeat the last time these teams played  back in September of 2022.
 Hadley Stenavich paced Notre Dame Academy's offense, picking up eight kills. Stenavich got some help from  Kailyn Kline and her 11 assists. Kline was also solid from the service line:  she led the team with six aces.
Notre Dame Academy's loss dropped their record down to 10-22. As for Appleton East,  the  victory snapped their losing streak at seven matches  and leaves them with a 8-20 record.
