Marshall has enjoyed a two-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will challenge the Arroyo Knights at 6:31 p.m. on Friday.
On Wednesday, Marshall came up short against South El Monte and fell 59-47. Marshall has not had much luck with South El Monte recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
Meanwhile, Arroyo waltzed into their matchup on Monday with two straight wins but they left with three. They walked away with a 49-41 win over Rosemead.
Marshall has been struggling recently, as they've lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-11 record this season. As for Arroyo, their win bumped their record up to 10-12.
Marshall beat Arroyo 61-53 when the teams last played on January 9th. The rematch might be a little tougher for Marshall since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
