The Donoho Falcons's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their sixth straight loss. They lost to Wadley on the road by a decisive 60-45 margin. Donoho lost against Wadley in their previous head to head back in December of 2023, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the 72-69 score last time.
Jaquez Wilkes was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 19 points and 14 rebounds for Wadley. Wilkes set a new season high mark in blocks with four. The team also got some help courtesy of Frisco Robertson, who scored 18 points.
Donoho bumped their record down to 3-13 with that loss, which was their sixth straight on the road. As for Wadley, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Donoho will take on Saks at 1:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Wadley, they will head out on the road to face off against Loachapoka at 1:30 p.m. on Monday.
