Prince of Peace is 3-0 against Covenant since December of 2021, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Prince of Peace Eagles will head out on the road to square off against the Covenant Knights at 6:00 p.m. Neither Prince of Peace nor Covenant posted many points in their last games, so it might be the defenses that decide this one.
Last Tuesday, Prince of Peace came up short against Shelton and fell 28-21. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Prince of Peace has scored all season.
Meanwhile, sadly, Covenant is still looking for their first win of the season after 15 matches. They took a serious blow against Brook Hill on Tuesday, falling 57-15. While losing is never fun, Covenant can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 1491st, while Brook Hill is ranked 513th).
Prince of Peace has traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-10 record this season. As for Covenant, their defeat was their 14th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-15.
Everything came up roses for Prince of Peace against Covenant in their previous meeting back in January of 2023 as the squad secured a 54-10 win. Will Prince of Peace repeat their success, or does Covenant have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
