The Baldwin Indians will challenge the Atlantic Coast Stingrays at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Baldwin 3.8, Atlantic Coast 2.2) so any runs scored will be well earned.
Atlantic Coast will take on a team with plenty of momentum: Baldwin extended their winning streak to four on Thursday. The Indians put the hurt on Paxon School For Advanced Studies with a sharp 12-2 victory. The Indians' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Lilly Hubbard made a big impact no matter where she played. She struck out six batters over six innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off seven hits (and not a single walk). She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in four consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 3-for-4 with one run and one RBI.
In other batting news, Kk Fry and Jazmine Ramos-Merced did most of the damage at the plate: Fry went 3-for-5 with one home run, two stolen bases, and three RBI, while Ramos-Merced went 2-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. That home run marked the first that Fry has launched this season. Tiana Gissentanner was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one home run and three runs.
Baldwin lost a few balls and finished the game with three home runs. That's the most home runs they've posted since back in April of 2025.
Meanwhile, after soaring to 13 runs the game before, Atlantic Coast was a bit more limited in their game on Thursday. They fell just short of Middleburg by a score of 3-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Stingrays have suffered since April 16, 2025.
Stella Lynton made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with one home run.
Baldwin's win bumped their record up to 6-2. As for Atlantic Coast, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-3.
Tuesday's contest will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Baldwin hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .326. However, it's not like Atlantic Coast struggles in that department as they've averaged .380. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Everything went Baldwin's way against Atlantic Coast when the teams last played back in April of 2025, as Baldwin made off with a 9-2 victory. Do the Indians have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Stingrays turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
