Varela's game on Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Coral Park Rams with a sharp 11-1 victory. The Vipers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six matches by ten runs or more this season.

Varela's win was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 6-7. As for Coral Park, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-13.

Coming up, Varela will challenge Braddock at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Vipers will need to watch out since the Bulldogs have now posted at least ten runs in their last three contests. Coral Park does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
