Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Ola). They walked away with an 88-79 win over the Stockbridge Tigers on Monday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 64-44 back in December of 2024.

Leading Ola to victory were Matin Bello and Nigel Thomas. Bello went 6 for 8 from beyond the arc en route to 30 points, while Thomas posted 24 points along with eight rebounds and three steals. With that strong performance, Thomas is now averaging an impressive 15.4 points per game. Another player making a difference was Jacqui Page, who earned 11 points.

When it comes to explaining why Stockbridge lost, don't look at Jason Brookins. Despite the final result, he went 9 of 15 on his way to 26 points and six boards. That's the most points Brookins has posted since back in November of 2024. Ashton Poole was another key player, going 5 for 7 en route to 11 points and five assists.

Ola's victory ended a nine-game drought on the road and puts them at 8-16. As for Stockbridge, they dropped their record down to 7-16 with the loss, which was their tenth straight at home.

Ola didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 48-46 win against Hampton on the 4th. Stockbridge has also already played their next contest, a 74-55 defeat against Eagle's Landing Christian Academy on the 4th.
