There's no place like home for the Clayton Valley Charter Ugly Eagles, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road on Saturday. They simply couldn't be stopped on Tuesday as they easily beat Concord 65-24 at home. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest win Clayton Valley Charter has managed all season.
James Moore was his usual excellent self, scoring 14 points along with three steals. Those three steals set a new season-high mark for he. Another player making a difference was Chase Robertson, who scored eight points.
Clayton Valley Charter's victory bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Concord, their loss was their 14th straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 2-5.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Clayton Valley Charter will take on Stagg at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Stagg is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'. Concord will be home for the holidays to greet Kennedy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
