If The Whitmer Panthers were feeling good off their 41-0 takedown of the Springfield Blue Devils last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Whitmer fell to Perrysburg 20-14. Whitmer was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Perrysburg apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September.
Perrysburg was led to victory by Dominick Woods and Josh Takats. Woods picked up 72 receiving yards and a touchdown, while Takats threw for 167 yards and a touchdown.
Whitmer's loss dropped their record down to 7-4. As for Perrysburg, their victory bumped their record up to 8-4.
Whitmer does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Perrysburg will head out on the road to face off against Olentangy Berlin at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Olentangy Berlin is coming into the game hot, having won their last ten games.
