Bartow came tearing into Thursday's match with five straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 3.8 goals) and they left with even more momentum. Their defense stepped up to hand the Haines City Hornets a 5-0 shutout. Considering the Yellow Jackets have won four contests by more than three goals this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Bartow pushed their record up to 7-3 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 20 goals over those four games. As for Haines City, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-4.
