The Memorial Red Devils will challenge the Aquinas Knights at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. One thing working in Memorial's favor is that they have posted at least ten runs in their last three matchups.
On Thursday, Memorial made easy work of McKinley and carried off a 15-3 victory. That looming 15-3 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Red Devils yet this season.

Bella Ornelas was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She tossed five innings while giving up three earned runs off five hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs. That's the most hits she has posted since back in March of 2025.
In other batting news, Ramani Adams was a standout: she went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, three RBI, and one run. Another player making a difference was Kayla Coriano, who got on base in four of her five plate appearances with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI.
Memorial always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .615. They are a perfect 4-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.
Meanwhile, Aquinas came up short against East Palestine on Thursday and fell 8-5.
AyraBella Bacorn was cooking despite her team's loss, going 3-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one double. Ariana Nelson was another key player, going 2-for-4 with one triple, one run, and one RBI.
Memorial's win bumped their record up to 6-14. As for Aquinas, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-8 record this season.
