Bradenton Christian had to kick off their season with an away game, and unfortunately wound up with a long bus ride home. They took a 14-28 hit to the loss column at the hands of Shorecrest Prep. Bradenton Christian was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Shorecrest Prep apparently hadn't forgotten their loss from the last time the teams met up. This was the first contest for both squads, starting Bradenton Christian off on the wrong foot at 0-1, while giving Shorecrest Prep a 1-0 record.
Both teams will be heading out of the conference in their next games. Next week, Bradenton Christian take on Foundation Academy at 7:00 PM. As for Shorecrest Prep, they will face off against Canterbury.
