Basketball Recap: North Posey Extends Winning Streak to Three

North Posey extended their winning streak to three games thanks to a huge performance from Alyssa Heath. The North Posey Vikings breezed by the Pike Central Chargers to the tune of 48-19 on Saturday thanks in part to Heath, who went 7 of 14 en route to 18 points and seven rebounds. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in blocks (two).

North Posey has been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.3 points per game. As for Pike Central, they dropped their record down to 3-15 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight at home.

North Posey wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 66-32 loss against North Knox on the 20th. Pike Central has also already played their next game (against North Daviess), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
