While Walkertown put up some points on Friday, the same can't be said for Carver. The Wolfpack claimed a resounding 30-0 win over the Yellowjackets. The Wolfpack might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six matchups by 23 points or more this season.

Walkertown's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Nasir Conrad led the charge by rushing for 110 yards and one TD. The team also got some help courtesy of Jerrell Crawford, who threw for 193 yards and a pair of touchdowns.

Walkertown didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Jacob McLaurin and Brian Highsmith Jr. Highsmith Jr also set a new season-high mark in total tackles with six. McLaurin got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

The victory (which was Walkertown's third in a row) raised their record to 7-1. Those wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 7.7 points on average over those games. As for Carver, their defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 6-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Walkertown will venture away from home to challenge Morehead at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Wolfpack will be up against the Panthers' rather soft defense (which has allowed 30.22 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Carver, they will head out to square off against Bartlett Yancey at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
