On Friday, Covenant Christian had to suffer through a rough 50-20 loss at the hands of Aletheia Christian Academy. Covenant Christian has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Riley Glazier was her usual excellent self, almost dropping a triple-double on nine points, ten assists, and nine steals for Aletheia Christian Academy. That's the first time this season that Glazier posted eight or more assists. Another player making a difference was Violet Martin, who scored 12 points.
Covenant Christian has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-7 record this season. As for Aletheia Christian Academy, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-3.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Covenant Christian will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off.
