Basketball Recap: Friday's Victory Is Kokomo Homeschool's Ninth in Last 11 Outings

Kokomo HomeSchool won the last time they faced Fort Wayne GUARD HomeSchool and things went their way on Friday too. The Kokomo HomeSchool Eagles blew past the Fort Wayne GUARD HomeSchool Guard 61-37. The Eagles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 15 contests by 24 points or more this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Kokomo HomeSchool to victory, but perhaps none more so than Malachi Rinehart, who almost dropped a double-double on 11 points and nine rebounds. That's the most boards Rinehart has posted since back in November of 2024. Another player making a difference was Drew Beery, who went 8 of 19 on his way to 20 points and eight rebounds.

Kokomo HomeSchool has been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 11 games, which provided a nice bump to their 23-7 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 71.8 points over those games. As for Fort Wayne GUARD HomeSchool, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-11.

Kokomo HomeSchool didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 76-65 win against HEA Firebirds HomeSchool on the 8th. Fort Wayne GUARD HomeSchool does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
