Trinity waltzed into their match on Monday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They came out on top against the Wilmington Christian Academy Patriots by a score of 8-5.

Trinity's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 14-3. The road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.7 runs on average over those games. As for Wilmington Christian Academy, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-11 record this season.

Trinity has already played their next contest, a 10-5 defeat against Dixon on the 15th. As for Wilmington Christian Academy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 13-3 loss against Randleman on the 15th.
