The Ashley Ridge Swamp Foxes can now show off 11 landslide victories after their most recent contest on Wednesday. They put the hurt on Stall with a sharp 60-37 victory. The victory was familiar territory for Ashley Ridge who now have eight in a row.
Ashley Ridge got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Nadia President out in front who scored 13 points along with three steals. Kaylin Brown was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with three blocks.
Despite the loss, Stall still got an impressive performance from Makayla Waiters, who scored 13 points along with five rebounds and five steals. That was a full 35.1% of Stall's points, marking the third time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Ashley Ridge pushed their record up to 15-5 with that win, which was their third straight on the road. As for Stall, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 14-8 record this season.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Ashley Ridge will square off against Fort Dorchester at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Fort Dorchester has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games. As for Stall, they will head out on the road to square off against West Ashley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully West Ashley focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 15 last Monday.
