Pee Dee Academy dropped down to 5-3 on Friday, ending the team's four-game streak of wins. They were outmatched by the Bethesda Academy Blazers and fell 49-0. The Golden Eagles were red-hot offensively heading into the matchup (they scored no less than 31 points in the four contests prior), but the Blazers' defense proved too tough.

Jordan Turner was his usual excellent self, throwing for 156 yards and three touchdowns while completing 71.4% of his passes, and also rushing for 49 yards and a pair of scores. Bethesda Academy's leading receiver Ralo Wesley was Turner's top target yet again, picking up 101 receiving yards and a pair of TDs.
