Carmi-White County waltzed into their match on Saturday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They strolled past the Wayne City Indians with points to spare, taking the game 71-55. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Bulldogs also won the last time the pair played back in February of 2024.

Despite the loss, Wayne City still got an impressive performance from James Walker, who went 15-for-25 to rack up 35 points. That's the most points Walker has posted since back in December of 2024. Rhyver Tibbs was another key player, putting up eight points.

Carmi-White County's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-13. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.3 points over those games. As for Wayne City, they are on a ten-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-20.

Coming up, Carmi-White County will take on Lawrenceville at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Wayne City, they have already played their next game, a 67-37 loss against Waltonville on the 17th.
