Baseball Recap: Roosevelt Makes It Five in a Row at Home

Roosevelt never got on the board in their matchup on Saturday, but that sure wasn't the case in their game against Pine Plains on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 10-0 margin over the Bombers. The Presidents have beaten the Bombers the last six times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Bombers has come to flipping the script.

Roosevelt's victory was truly a team effort as seven different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Brice Rider, who went 1-for-3 with one home run. John Theysohn was another, going 2-for-4 with one run and one RBI.

Roosevelt was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .375. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Pine Plains only posted a batting average of .125.
