Kaden Pusl was a major factor no matter where he played. On the mound, he struck out nine batters over 6.1 innings while giving up three earned runs off seven hits (and not a single walk). That's the most strikeouts he has posted since back in April of 2025. He was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with two runs, one double, and one RBI. He has become a key player for Mingus: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two runs, but 2-7 otherwise.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Manuel Munoz, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with four RBI, two runs, and one stolen base. That's the most hits he has posted since back in April of 2025. The team also got some help courtesy of Carter Wacker, who went 2-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and one RBI.
Mingus kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. They are a perfect 6-0 when they post 11 or more hits.
As for Lee Williams, they now have a losing record of 6-7-1. They have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
On Lee Williams' side, Cooper Cronk was cooking despite his team's loss, going 3-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and one double.
