Given their disadvantage in the MaxPreps state rankings, Washington should expect quite the challenge on Friday. They will challenge Timberland on the road at 7:00 PM. Washington come in off of three low-scoring performances in a row, a trend the team is obviously eager to reverse.
Washington took a serious blow against Fort Zumwalt North last Friday, falling 6-44.
Meanwhile, Timberland got themselves on the board against Liberty, but Liberty never followed suit. Timberland steamrollered Liberty 36-0.
Timberland's victory lifted them to 4-2 while Washington's loss dropped them down to 2-4. We'll see if Timberland's success rolls on or if Washington are able to steal their positive momentum.
