Thursday just wasn't the day for Meadowdale's offense. They wound up on the wrong side of a  tough 9-0 walloping at the hands of the Lake Stevens Vikings on Thursday. Having soared to a lofty 11  runs in the game before, Meadowdale's shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

 On Lake Stevens' side,  the result came thanks to  Trey Nance's shutout, as he gave up just four  hits and racked up seven Ks.
 At the plate,  Julian Wilson was  incredible,  scoring two  runs and  stealing a base while going 2-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of  Bryce Moser, who  scored a  run and  stole three bases while going 1-for-3.
 Meadowdale's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Lake Stevens,  the  victory  got them back to even at 3-3.
 Both  teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Meadowdale will stay at home for another  game and welcome Mountlake Terrace at 4:00  p.m.  on Monday. Mountlake Terrace will roll in looking for their  fifth straight  win, something Meadowdale surely won't give up without a fight. As for Lake Stevens, they will be playing at home against Cascade at 1:00  p.m.  on Saturday. Cascade will be hoping to continue their four-game streak of scoring more  runs each  match than the last.
