Velma Jackson took down Williams Sullivan 38-0 last week, the largest margin of any game. Emanuel Ross ran for 119 yards in the win.
Morton's dynamic duo of Deyton Lingle and Devonta Jones proved tough for Scott Central to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Lingle threw for 273 yards and 3 touchdowns and Jones had 130 yards receiving. Don Clark helped Morton's passing attack out by catching 2 balls for 80 yards.
The Panthers' dynamic duo of Lingle and Jones proved to be unstoppable against the Rebels, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week.
Jones was the best receiver in 3A Region 6 this week as Morton lost to Scott Central.
Ross was the most successful running back in the league this week. Teammate Martyce Hayden added to the ground attack by rushing for 50 yards.
He went 16-40 with 3 interceptions.
Lingle put up the best numbers through the air as Kris Pickle's team fell to the Rebels.
Leading the league in both passing and receiving yards, the Panthers' Lingle and Jones have proven to be a lethal combination. Lingle has thrown for 790 yards this season, while Jones has 22 catches for 365 yards. Ross from the Falcons leads the league in rushing with 531 yards.
St. Andrews Episcopal made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 9,388 from 10,230. The improvement came about via a 12-0 victory over the Saints last week.
