Cruz Tello Turns in Season-Best Performance
On Friday, Bowie had to settle for second even though Cruz Tello put up the best numbers he has all season. Tello threw for 320 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 13.9 yards per attempt, and also rushed for 46 yards and a touchdown.

Wise might have his next game, a home matchup with Bowie, circled on his calendar. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Wise saw the Bulldogs), he threw for 186 yards and two touchdowns, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground.

Lake Travis Wins Sixth-Straight Thanks to Vann Hopping
Vann Hopping was instrumental in extending Lake Travis's winning streak to six on Friday. Nobody could stop Hopping as he rushed for 87 yards and two touchdowns.
Hopping must have Del Valle's number; he was a force to be reckoned with the last time he faced them too. When Hopping last faced the Cardinals back in October of 2023, he rushed for 137 yards and a touchdown while picking up 8.6 yards per carry.

Lake Travis picked up their sixth consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Chaston Ditta. Del Valle had no answer to Ditta as he rushed for 35 yards and a touchdown, and also threw for 85 yards and two touchdowns.
This year, Ditta has thrown 13 touchdowns while averaging 207 passing yards per game.
