The Moundridge Wildcats stacked an eighth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Friday. They really took it to Trinity for the full four quarters, racking up a 63-27 victory at home. Winning may never get old, but Moundridge sure is getting used to it with their fifth in a row.
Moundridge's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Cammi Unruh, who scored 20 points along with five steals. Unruh hasn't dropped below three steals for 11 straight games. Addy Patrick was another key contributor, scoring 17 points along with three steals.
Moundridge has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 13-3 record this season. As for Trinity, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-14.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Moundridge will take on Sedgwick at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The timing isn't great for Sedgwick: they have been struggling with three straight losses at home, while Moundridge has snatched up six consecutive wins on the road dating back to last season. As for Trinity, they will challenge Marion at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
