The Waynesfield-Goshen Tigers will challenge the Arcadia Redskins at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Having struggled with four losses in a row, Waynesfield-Goshen turned things around against Ridgedale on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged out the Rockets 3-2.

Jace Kaufman spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered two runs (both of which were unearned) on four hits and racked up eight Ks. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't tossed less than eight strikeouts in four consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Carson Barnes, who went 1-for-2 with one home run and two RBI. Those two RBI gave him a new career-high. Braden Barnes also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.
Arcadia came out on top against Ada on Wednesday thanks in part to the team's impressive four-run second inning. The Redskins took their game against the Bulldogs 5-2.
Arcadia also let their pitcher toss all seven innings and he was also dialed-in: Isaac Stoner gave up just two earned runs on five hits.
At the plate, Arcadia secured the win behind a pair of hitters. One of them was Colin Nusser, who went 1-for-4 with two stolen bases and one run.
Waynesfield-Goshen's victory bumped their record up to 4-8. As for Arcadia, their win ended a seven-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 5-10.
Arcadia's hitters will have their work cut out for them on Thursday. Waynesfield-Goshen has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 7.9 strikeouts per game. It's a different story for Arcadia, though, as they've been averaging an even more impressive 4 strikeouts. Will Waynesfield-Goshen keep running through batters, or will the Redskins buck the trend?
