Normal West couldn't beat Hononegah  on Saturday even though they stacked four runs on them in the fourth inning. The Wildcats fell just short of the Indians by a score of  8-7. The Wildcats were not able to make up for their  loss to the Indians from their previous meeting  back in April of 2024.

This is the second loss in a row for Normal West and  nudges their season record down to 13-8. As for Hononegah, they have  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won seven of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-13 record  this season.
 Normal West will welcome Peoria  at 3:30  p.m.  on Monday. The Wildcats are facing the Lions at the right time seeing as the Lions are stuck on  a  14-game losing streak. As for Hononegah, they will head out on the road to  square off against  Boylan Catholic  at 4:30  p.m.  on Monday.
