Meanwhile, North Star's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their fifth straight defeat. They had to suffer through a rough 65-37 loss at the hands of Big Sandy.
Chester-Joplin-Inverness pushed their record up to 14-1 with that win, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for North Star, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last eight games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-7 record this season.
