Bourne is on  an  11-game streak of home wins (dating back to last season), while Case is on  a  nine-game streak of away wins (also dating back to last season): one of those streaks is about to end. The Canalmen will welcome the Cardinals  at 6:00  p.m.  on Monday. Both come into the  matchup bolstered by wins in their previous  matches.
On Friday, Bourne earned  a  3-1 win over Somerville.
 Bourne had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 21-25, 25-17, 25-10,  25-19.

Among those leading the charge was   Avery Morrill, who  had ten  digs and three  aces. She is  on a roll when it comes to  digs, as she's  now  had ten or more in each of the last five games she's  played.
 Morrill wasn't the only good servers: Bourne  was lethal from the service line and  finished the match with 15  aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  served at least five  aces in 18 consecutive  matches  dating back to last season.
Meanwhile, Case was able to grind out a solid  victory over Dartmouth on Friday, taking the game  3-1.
 In the three sets Case was on fire: they won each by at least ten points. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-7, 21-25,  25-11.
 Bourne's win bumped their record up to 13-2. As for Case, their victory bumped their record up to 15-1.
 Bourne skirted past Case  3-2 in their previous matchup  back in September. Do  the Canalmen have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Cardinals turn the tables on them?  We'll have the answer soon enough.
