Hanover Central entered their tilt with Munster on Thursday with four consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with five. They came out on top against the Mustangs by a score of  3-1. While the Wildcats didn't have the best season last year (they finished 14-19), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.
 Hanover Central had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 21-25, 25-16, 25-22,  25-16.
 Hanover Central found their leader in freshman  Jessica Ferguson, who  had 12  digs and three  aces. Those 12  digs set a new season-high mark for  Ferguson.  Brooklyn Oostman also deserves some recognition as  she  had her first  block of the season.
Hanover Central's victory bumped their record up to 7-2. As for Munster, their loss was  their third straight at home, which  dropped their record down to 1-10.
