 On Fowlerville's side,  the team  relied heavily on  Tommi Kleinschmidt, who  went 4-for-4 with a  home run, three  runs,  and three  RBI.  Kiely Davis was another key contributor,  scoring a  run while going 2-for-4.
 The  victory  made it two in a row for Fowlerville and  bumps their season record up to 3-1.
 The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Howell beat Fowlerville by a score of  5-1 later that day.
