The North Judson-San Pierre Bluejays will head out to square off against the North Miami Warriors at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
North Miami will take on a team with plenty of momentum: North Judson-San Pierre extended their winning streak to four on Saturday. Everything went the Bluejays' way against Whiting as they made off with a 15-4 win.
Ayson Harper made a splash while hitting and pitching. He kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out seven over 4.2 innings pitched. Those seven strikeouts gave him a new career-high. He was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. North Judson-San Pierre is 9-2 when Harper posts two or more runs, but 3-7 otherwise.

Meanwhile, North Miami made easy work of Culver Community on Friday and carried off a 12-2 victory. That's two games straight that the Warriors have won by exactly ten runs.
North Miami saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jake Riley, who went 3-for-4 with four stolen bases, three runs, and one triple. Riley is on a roll when it comes to triples, as he's now hit at least one in each of the last three games he's played. Isaac Floyd was another, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with two runs and one stolen base.
North Miami has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-3 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.7 runs on average over those games. As for North Judson-San Pierre, their record is now 12-9.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Monday as neither team is afraid to steal. North Judson-San Pierre has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 3.5 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like North Miami struggles in that department as they've been averaging 4.7 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
North Judson-San Pierre beat North Miami 5-2 in their previous meeting back in May of 2015. Do the Bluejays have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Warriors turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
