The victory was just what New Life Christian Academy needed coming off of a 72-37 defeat in their prior matchup.
New Life Christian Academy found their leader in underclassman Ty'lik Taylor, who scored 32 points along with two steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Taylor has scored all season. Cameron Parker was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 17 points and 14 rebounds.
Raleigh Christian Academy has not been sharp recently as the team's lost 12 of their last 13 games, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-17 record this season. As for New Life Christian Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season.
This contest is one where the number of possessions is likely to be a big factor: Raleigh Christian Academy have been smashing the glass this season, having averaged 28.5 rebounds per game. However, it's not like New Life Christian Academy struggles in that department as they've been averaging 30.8 rebounds per game. Given these competing strengths, it'll be interesting to see how their clash plays out.
