Compass Academy put another one in the bag on Monday to keep their perfect season alive. They were the clear victors by a 67-44 margin over the Pecos Eagles. Fans of the Cougars have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 20+ points.

Compass Academy's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Andrew Bowling, who posted 15 points and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Braden Hogan, who almost dropped a double-double with 12 points and nine rebounds.

Compass Academy smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 17 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 13 offensive boards in four consecutive contests dating back to last season.

Compass Academy's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Pecos, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Coming up, Compass Academy won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Grape Creek at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Pecos, they will look to defend their home court on December 2 against Presidio at 7:30 p.m.
