South Johnston came into Friday's contest looking for another win against Union Pines, but Kingsley Donaldson wouldn't allow it. The Vikings put the hurt on the Trojans with a sharp 64-41 win on Friday for which the team can thank Donaldson, who almost dropped a double-double with 28 points and nine boards. His evening made it four games in a row in which he has scored at least 15 points.

Another player making a difference was Wesley Bailey, who posted 12 points. He has been hot recently, having also posted two or more steals the last four times he's played.

Union Pines has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 3-5 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.0 points over those games. As for South Johnston, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.

Union Pines wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 99-50 win against Montgomery Central on the 20th. South Johnston and James Kenan will round out the year against one another at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
