Eastridge has enjoyed a two-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will wrap up 2023 with a road trip to face off against the Livonia Bulldogs at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Last Thursday, Eastridge didn't have too much trouble with Batavia at home as they won 52-37.
Meanwhile, Livonia scored the most points they've had all season to find success last Friday. They blew past Avon, posting a 70-28 win at home. Given Livonia's advantage in MaxPreps' New York basketball rankings (they are ranked 86th, while Avon is ranked 378th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Eastridge's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-2. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.8 points per game. As for Livonia, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 4-2.
