The Crestwood Knights will head out to square off against the Wilson Tigers at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Crestwood will be strutting in after a victory while Wilson will be coming in after a defeat.
Having struggled with four losses in a row, Crestwood turned things around against Clear Dot Charter on Tuesday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Bats a 10-0 shutout. The Knights not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since February 19th (when they won 12-1).

Andrew Stalzer made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out six batters over two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Crestwood is 2-1 when Stalzer allows one or fewer hits, but 1-6 otherwise. Stalzer was also big at the plate, going 1-for-2 with three stolen bases and two runs. He has been hot, having posted two or more stolen bases the last five times he's played.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Darian (Dj) Miller, who went 3-for-4 with three stolen bases, three runs, and one double. Miller is crushing it when it comes to stolen bases: he's snagged at least one every time he's taken the field this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Patrick Fortier, who got on base in all three of his plate appearances with three stolen bases and two runs.
Meanwhile, Wilson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against Latta, falling 20-2.
Wilson saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kingston Cooper, who went 1-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI. That double was Cooper's first of the season.
Crestwood's record now sits at 3-7. As for Wilson, their loss dropped their record down to 2-8.
Crestwood suffered a grim 17-1 defeat to Wilson in their previous matchup back in March of 2025. Can the Knights avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
