It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but the Grace Classical Christian Academy Gryphons had no problem doing just that on Friday. They came out on top against Town East Christian by a score of 32-19. Winning may never get old, but Grace Classical Christian Academy sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Grace Classical Christian Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Wyatt Keith, who rushed for 150 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 8.8 yards per carry. Another player making a difference was Bryce Jones, who rushed for 41 yards and two touchdowns.
Grace Classical Christian Academy now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Town East Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 2-6.
Grace Classical Christian Academy will take on Hill County at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Hill County is hoping to put an end to a four-game streak of away losses. Town East Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
