The Classical Saints entered their tilt with the Belle Plaine Dragons with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Classical took down Belle Plaine 55-38 on Tuesday. That's another feather in the cap for Classical, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Leading Classical to victory were Daniel Young and Sam Wilkey. Young scored 15 points along with 8 rebounds, while Wilkey dropped a double-double on 18 points and 13 rebounds. Charlie Graham was another key contributor, scoring 6 points along with 5 rebounds.
Classical's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Belle Plaine, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.
Classical will head out on the road to face off against Fairfield at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Belle Plaine will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Trinity Academy on January 30, 2024.
