Out-of-Door Academy won the last time they faced DeSoto County and things went their way on Saturday too. The Thunder came out on top against the Bulldogs by a score of 2-0.

Despite the loss, DeSoto County still got an impressive performance from Brighten Long, who had three digs and two aces. Madalynn Atherton also deserves some recognition as she served her first ace of the season.

Out-of-Door Academy is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-5 record this season. As for DeSoto County, their loss dropped their record down to 11-7.

Coming up, Out-of-Door Academy will host Saint Stephen's Episcopal at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for DeSoto County, they are taking a road trip to take on LaBelle at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
