Glendale is 2-8 against Kickapoo since December of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Glendale Falcons will head out on the road to square off against the Kickapoo Chiefs at 5:30 p.m. Glendale has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 470 points over their last six games.
Even though Lebanon scored an imposing 79 points on Tuesday, Glendale still came out on top. Glendale snuck past Lebanon with a 83-79 victory.
Meanwhile, Kickapoo humbled West Plains with a 71-41 victory. Given Kickapoo's advantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked fourth, while West Plains is ranked 204th), the result on Friday wasn't entirely unexpected.
Glendale has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 13-8 record this season. As for Kickapoo, their victory was their 15th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 18-3.
Glendale lost to Kickapoo on the road by a decisive 78-59 margin in their previous matchup back in February of 2023. Can Glendale avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
